Week 3(July 19-23): Virtual Reality Worlds
Week 3(July 19-23): Virtual Reality Worlds
Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Tools: 3D interactive platform with block-based programming language
Course Description
This week, we invite our students to build with their newly acquired knowledge Virtual Reality applications that will allow the user to explore the world from a new perspective. Their storytelling will bring us to the front lines of arctic expeditions or inhospitable conditions on another planet, inspiring action. Whichever story is planning to be told, we can’t wait to witness how their creativity brings the world closer to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
Students will :
•Be able to create virtual worlds that they can see, hear, and immerse themselves in.
•Programming using easy block-based visual language or mare advanced coder can script coding using JavaScript & TypeScript
•Use best practices for effective 3D print creation and troubleshooting prints
•Work in 3D space and design 3D models
•Develop a simple Augmented reality game
•Use code to experiment with physics! Create simulations of physical phenomena and visualize abstract scientific concepts in 3D or VR.
Whatever story they are looking to tell or game they are inventing, we can’t wait to witness how their creativity brings the 3D world to life.
